I GOT A JOB!!
So guess who got a job! I did! Ahhhh! I'm so excited!
I'm working for Matchbox Restaurants as the assistant to one of the four owners/Manager of Maintenance and Construction. We haven't come up with a formal title for me yet but I love my job. Right now I'm mostly helping my boss, Mark, around the office filing, organizing his emails, cleaning up the papers everywhere, stuff like that. But I got to order my desk today and he's letting me design a feature that's going to hang from the new Rockville Matchbox. How awesome is that? Ahhh so pumped.
The pay is okay but in 90 days he'll review my work and hopefully raise my pay by half of what I'm making now. Which means I'll be making almost 19 an hour. Which is so great!
My boss also wants to get me an iPhone. I'm so glad things are finally all fitting into place for me. Now I just need to get into Graduate school and life will be complete. Two weeks and I will find out. Ugh I'm gonna puke. Night!

Tonic and Albert Einstein...always a good evening
So I used to work at this restaurant called Tonic at Quigley's Pharmacy in Foggy Bottom. Its a GW University restaurant and its mostly professionals from the K Street area and GW students. Tonight Allie, Kristyn and I went to Tonic for dinner since they had never experienced it. It was a great success. We sat on the patio which was perfect for people watching and chatting. They had a server I didn't recognize wait on us and he was really fun.

Afterwards I brought them to see the Albert Einstein Memorial which is only 4 blocks from the restaurant right across from the Lincoln Memorial. The great thing about this monument is that its not very popular because most people have never heard of it which means you are free to chill there for a while with no interruptions. Also if you stand in the middle of the universe on the floor and face the statue of Einstein you can hear an echo if you talk. So clever :)

Field of Screams
Overall totally fun. Kristyn would say otherwise. I think her exact words were, "I will never do that again. Far too scared." Haha but I still recommend this if you're looking for a good scare in the DC or Maryland area in the month of October and have $20 to drop.
